Biography 2017

Since 2004 David Holler has been writing songs with many major recording artists throughout Europe and Switzerland. Notably, he co-wrote 'Voice of Freedom' with Grammy Award winner Angélique Kidjo. Other songwriting credits include Stefanie Heinzmann, Reto Burrell, DJ Bobo, Luca Hänni, Chris von Rohr, Mr. Da Nos, Roman Camenzind, Melanie Oesch, Johnny Rivers and Supertramp's Bob Siebenburg. With Anna Rossinelli's release 'Bon Voyage,' it marked the 8th time David's had his work featured on a top 10 album in Switzerland.


David also co-wrote two songs for French movie star Arielle Dombasle, whose album ‘French Kiss,’ on Universal Music, features Paris nightclub favourites and Mercury Music recording artist Hillbilly Moon Explosion. More recently David has been co.writing and working with 2017 Grammy Award nominee producer and recording engineer Ben Mühlethaler


Family History

Many of David' compositions were co-written with his father, BMI Award winning songwriter Dick Holler, whose compositions have been recorded and performed by Bob Dylan, Whitney Houston, Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson, Cliff Richard, Wilson Pickett, Petula Clarke, Tori Amos, Harry Belafonte, Sammy Davis Jr., Andy Williams, Garth Brooks, The New Seekers, The Bellamy Brothers, Lobo, Bon Jovi, Ray Charles and Cher. Having sold more than 35 million records and being inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame, his composition ‘Abraham, Martin and John’ recently won a BMI award for surpassing the 5 million airplays mark in 2015.


New Album 'Offline Friends' due out 07.07.17

David's much-anticipated album 'Offline Friends' showcases 12 tracks produced and arranged by David himself. It also features 'When You Were Still In Love With Me', which was one of the most played songs on Radio Swiss Pop in 2016. The other 11 radio friendly tracks should nicely find their way into the adult contemporary market. Guest musicians and writers include Grammy Award winner Brent Mason, John Lyons, Dick Holler, Reno Holler, Oliver Baroni and Daniel Marbot.
